sab6024 Posted December 11, 2008 Report Posted December 11, 2008 Right then, my Norton anti-virus has just expired and so I'm no longer covered and the subscription renewal cost a small fortune Does anyone recommend a good and possibly free anti-virus cover. I'm a bit green when it comes to computers so would I have to remove the existing Norton from my computer before installing the new protection?....may seem like a really obvious answer but I am a bit dim
Stu_B Posted December 11, 2008 Report Posted December 11, 2008 I use this (I have a cracked copy) theres a free 30 day trial on the link http://www.eset.com/
2.8i Cossie Posted December 11, 2008 Report Posted December 11, 2008 go to download.com and search for AVG... Ive been using it for years. Its free and updates automatically to the latest threats!
sab6024 Posted December 11, 2008 Author Report Posted December 11, 2008 Thank you everyone I think I might have it sorted now though. My IP gives me Norton which I never used as my laptop came with it when I bought it. I had forgotten all about it until I found the package it came in. Doesn't say owt about renewing subscriptions though so I'm hoping that it's included in the price of the Broadband package
