Admin Vista Posted December 30, 2008 Admin Report Posted December 30, 2008 well got it so now im a very happy owner of a mk1 escort drove well on the way home just one snag the indicators stopped working as for the insurance was going through my classic ford mag and got a good deal with classic insurance over the world wide web What's wrong with the indicators? It's quite a simple circuit so I'd look at the fuse and then flasher unit first. You can still get the flasher units from most motor factors, they're up under the dash to the right of the steering wheel.
flyingbanana Posted December 30, 2008 Report Posted December 30, 2008 i saw that car on fleebay....and when i did see it i thought some one put mine on fleebay for a brief moment looked clean from the pics...good luck with it

mk14dr Posted December 30, 2008 Report Posted December 30, 2008 Nice purchase mate, looks bloody clean Like has been said, the indicators are a simple circuit, check all the conections (especially at the fuse box). Also, it have a hazard light switch? If so be careful with it as they're imposible to find replacments for. Gwan the 4drs, and all that jazz D
