red-rum816 Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 i would find it hard 2 give up just like that, i get stressed very quickly so i may need 2 have some help, but i really do want 2 give up.
caprinerd Posted January 6, 2009 Author Report Posted January 6, 2009 cheers, mate aint easy and the crap that comes out scared the begeezers out of me but i determined
over_head_cam Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 Just think that that crap is normally snuggling up nicely in your lungs normally. Now you can see it gone for good. you will notice better health within a week or two, with more sensitive taste and smell and before long you will be a new man.
X-pack-Glyn Posted January 7, 2009 Report Posted January 7, 2009 I could give up smoking pretty easy to be honest, but its hard for many so hats off to you... now i hate the fact that im a smoker, but i do enjoy my fags... the problem i got is that if i gave up smoking id have to give up carp fishing too... now theres no way i could give up carp fishing as im propper addicted to that.. so if i wanna give up smoking i gotta give up carping
Stu_B Posted January 7, 2009 Report Posted January 7, 2009 Keep at it mate, completely stopping like that takes real will power
Mrs O/H/C Posted January 7, 2009 Report Posted January 7, 2009 WELL DONE .. they say day 3,week 3 and month 3 are the hardest..so you have managed to get through 1 of them so only 2 more to go. I cant give up smoking.. wish i could as its a waste of money

Fishtailparka Posted January 7, 2009 Report Posted January 7, 2009 I'm the same age as you, and started smoking at the same age too. I really want to give up, and have beem thinking about it a lot lately. I've done it in the past, and managed upto 18 months sometimes before starting again. Managing the first week is a big achievement, well done to you. I hope you keep it up.
