Does anyone know here I can get my original glass from my 1600 Sport 'cleaned'.

I would try and source new glass but it all still has the etchings in the corners.

Not sure whether they can be polished?

Cheers

typically though etching goes pretty deep or it wouldn't be any deterrent to thieves, I reckon you'll be lucky to polish it out.

I want to keep the original glass and so also keep the etching. Just want to clean the glass up as best as I can. I think it will spoil the car if the glass looks S#*T!!

Have you cleaned it at all yet? If not first try good old newspaper. Take a sheet and crumple it up, and rub the glass hard. Glass is surprisingly resilient, the muck should come off, the scratches on the other hand you might need to polish, but you will get a better idea once the dirt is off.

I always use Mr Muscle glass cleaner with that blue polyroll stuff. Works a treat

I think the newspaper idea works well too especially with a shake or two of vinegar. Just don't use your old fish & chip wrappings though. That'll cause it to smear

surely if you get a new screen you can get it etched ??

I would get a new screen but that will then stand out like a sore thumb from the rest of the glass. Also I'm getting close to the bottom of the money pit!!!

I will try both suggested ideas though
