I was trying to save for going to new york for a couple of months work as well so thats out the window for a while, fook it ill have some
Trevmk3 Posted February 11, 2009 Report Posted February 11, 2009 not good mate my brother is still off work after being knocked off his bike at the begining of december, hes had a screw in his scaphoid but that hasnt done the job properly so he might have to go for a bone graft

badchild Posted February 11, 2009 Author Report Posted February 11, 2009 Yeah thats the same bone ive broken, fookin annoying The night it happened i took some painkillers and some poitin (irish moonshine) to numb it a bit lol Think i did more damage to it by driving home though Just travelling along and the bike left me, honestly dont know what the fook happened to top it all off my brand new leather hein gericke jackets all scuffed as well come down to cork in a few weeks! Awful long jaunt to cork from Down lol

I saw one at the bottom of the m2 and westlink last night Wherebouts you from mate? must be local enough, Im subcontracted into grahams the crowd that built the new westlink, you know the "underwtaer" one lol

Smudger105e Posted February 13, 2009 Report Posted February 13, 2009 Broke my Scaphoid about 25 years ago, and they screwed it back together with a 1" screw which is still in there. Has 10 weeks off work which was awful, and daytime tv was even worse back then, only 4 channels to watch and no internet . Don't notice the wrist injury these days, except for the impressive scar! You'll be back out and about in no time at all matey.
