mk1super Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 I hope people remember the man, for the good reasons rather than this bad one, we all make bad decision's from time to time, and do silly things, that hurt ourselves and others around us, alas he and othere's paid the ultimate price for his error of judgement. Hopefully others will learn from this tragic mistake and keep there licence and training up to date.

Agreed, but I'm not sure that thought would console me if I were the father of the other young boy that died.
Posse Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 By reading that i reckon that the family of the boy who died will prob try to seek compensation.Like Alex said I hope people remember the man

livewire7116 Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 So because his license expired it suddenly means he does not know how to fly anymore! As for the type of helicopter type its like passing your test in a saxo then getting into a cossie, principal is the same just the power is different??? Think its wrong to find fault with a man who has no way of defending himself

Think its wrong to find fault with a man who has no way of defending himself well how about someone in a car runs over your kid when they have had a licence but have been banned from driving so no longer had it? ok colin wasnt banned, just expired, but its the same principal, if he hadnt have been flying when he shouldnt then the accident wouldnt have happened
D4N Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 My dads mate knew colin and was very good friends with him. They always few together and he said he was very very good flyer. I was watching a video of him yesterday had a tear in my eye..
