Retro-gone. Posted February 20, 2009 Author Report Posted February 20, 2009 i used to use snow tyres on mk5 cortina taxi and they had much deeper and thicker tread than these, and my goodyears are nowhere near bald! bloody loadsa life left in em, theyre only 34 years old

Probably, typically winter / snow tyres have a very deep tread pattern Yes m8, 'summer' tyres usually come with 7mm, deeper treaded tyres are usually 'mud & snow' and are great a this time of year, they work well in standing water too
