Rick Posted February 23, 2009 Author Report Posted February 23, 2009 if its noisy at speed then i would say it was fooked its hard to tell really its only noisy when being driven if i coast its no longer noisy but surely the diff is still turning ? its hard to diagnose til i can get it over a pit on some rollers but the noise is deffo coming from that end.
danny69 Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 It is still turning but not under load. If it goes quiet it points to the Crown and pinion wheel. If it stayed noisy it would more likely be bearings.
