FredTransit Posted March 7, 2009 Report Posted March 7, 2009 If it was none of our business, it would be happening in private. As for how many people were watching, why does this make it safe? It potentially only made it likely a lot of people saw the child drop to it's death, instead of only one or two cops or a social worker, or nobody. Even if he's not a paedophile, he's not a fit or suitable father, the incident on the balcony proved that. He even said in interviews later he felt it wasn't a dangerous thing to do
Dr Feelgood Posted March 7, 2009 Report Posted March 7, 2009 what im saying is that nobody see's it when a nobody does it, doesnt mean it doesnt happen and again his parenting skills are none of anyones business, the mother of those kids has said hes a brilliant father and i think she's in a better position to judge than you are
FredTransit Posted March 7, 2009 Report Posted March 7, 2009 Quite frankly I don't, otherwise why walk away? And clearly the social workers that allowed baby P die thought the same, despite it being their job to think and do otherwise.....
Copey Posted March 7, 2009 Report Posted March 7, 2009 Quite frankly I don't, otherwise why walk away? And clearly the social workers that allowed baby P die thought the same, despite it being their job to think and do otherwise..... what the fooks baby p got to do with MJ
Dr Feelgood Posted March 7, 2009 Report Posted March 7, 2009 all he's ever done is show that he cares about kids, that doesnt make him a peedo it makes him a target and imo hes the real victim just goes to show that society makes you then breaks you i think its pathetic that ppl will judge the guy on any "fault" like his appearance or what the tabloids say, at the end of the day hes an amazing artist who's made some of the best and timeless music around and thats all that matters to me
FredTransit Posted March 7, 2009 Report Posted March 7, 2009 So dangling a baby over a balcony shows he cares about his kids?? Any parents out there keen on proving their love for their kids in this way?
Dr Feelgood Posted March 7, 2009 Report Posted March 7, 2009 i wasnt talking about his kids, maybe youd like reading first?
Copey Posted March 7, 2009 Report Posted March 7, 2009 So dangling a baby over a balcony shows he cares about his kids?? Any parents out there keen on proving their love for their kids in this way? ok maybe it was a stupid thing to do, but to condem him for that one act of sillyness with his kid is unfair as Dr Feelgood has said, he does seem to care for his kids and in no way implied that dangling a baby over a balcony was ok, as far as i can tell she is just tryin to stand up for someone who get a shit load of bad press, much more than he deserves
antz Posted March 7, 2009 Report Posted March 7, 2009 I remember reading all about this in 'Big Whoop Magazine'.... nobody cares he is doing a tour, end of story! weather you agree with his parenting, looks, personality or even the way he dresses is nothing to do with us. He is doing what he wants to/must to raise some cash in hard times to support himself and his family...Exactly what fat gobby jade goody is doing for her kids. best of luck to him i say
DanV Posted March 7, 2009 Report Posted March 7, 2009 I think he is a strange individual, but then the press only print the bad stuff dont they!?! Michael Jackson not beig wierd is not gonna be headline news. Either way, his music is awesome, especially the stuff he did around the 'Off The Wall' era
YOUNGY Posted March 7, 2009 Report Posted March 7, 2009 i think he should do a duet with garry glitter.
FredTransit Posted March 7, 2009 Report Posted March 7, 2009 BTW as far as the music goes, I can take it or leave it, I thought Beat it was the best thing he did.
zetecmk2 Posted March 7, 2009 Report Posted March 7, 2009 off the wall was great, as was thriller, but "dirty diana" was the best, the bloke's a freak! from 2nd hand information, who can tell the truth from bullshit? i'm glad my life wasn't ruined by journalists!!! so easily done!!! how can you decide until you know him?
omj624p Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 all he's ever done is show that he cares about kids, that doesnt make him a peedo it makes him a target and imo hes the real victim just goes to show that society makes you then breaks you i think its pathetic that ppl will judge the guy on any "fault" like his appearance or what the tabloids say, at the end of the day hes an amazing artist who's made some of the best and timeless music around and thats all that matters to me Spot on - couldnt agree more - I actually want to go and see him a the O2.

FredTransit Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 If Gary Glitter had got off, and Michael Jackson had been found guilty, do you think we would have been having this conversation? Also, do you think MJ would have played the race card?
antz Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 If Gary Glitter had got off, and Michael Jackson had been found guilty, do you think we would have been having this conversation? Also, do you think MJ would have played the race card? nobody cares stop arguing. if you dont like it, then dont go see him! Simples!
Dr Feelgood Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 well said antz i dont see why ppl are so PC and judgemental sit back and enjoy the music
FredTransit Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 don't worry, not going to see him, and never bought any of his records. Anyway, I thought this was a forum, where you can voice an opinion, or am I mistaken?
Dr Feelgood Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 nobody has said anything to contrary i just said everyone should relax and enjoy the music
PIG Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 he is a pest, there is no smoke without fire imo.he should crawl under a rock
jimbo Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 well said antz i dont see why ppl are so PC and judgemental sit back and enjoy the music I agree....... Jordy Chandler and family were shown to be nothing near upstanding in the long run. But even at the time, the question had to be asked "What kind of father would take a payout over justice for an aboused child?" I would suggest none, and therefore it is unlikely that the abuse ever happened. Even in front of a jury, Jackson was found innocent on all counts. As far as the balcony incident......... I've seen parents: - let their kids clamber around unbelted in the back of cars on the move. - stop to cross the road with the pushchair hanging out in the road (once with the pushchair ending up under the front wheel of a van - baby miraculously OK ) - have their baby roll out into the road having let go of a pushchair to tell off the older child. Again miraculously OK) Everyone's allowed to make a mistake (it's part of being human) and perhaps demonstrates that he's just that...... On the back of that, I am left to judge him only by his career, and that is that everything up until 1993 was expertly crafted, innovative music of the highest order (except where McCartney led him astray. Shame on you Paul. You should have kept your post-Wings eighties musical crisis to yourself ) I think everything since has been clouded by the other issues going on in his life....... Will I go see him???? Tough call..... To pay that much money and be dissappointed would suck.....To not go and found that you missed out on an amazing gig would also suck....... I took that gamble when Led Zep played the Ahmet Ertegen tribute. I wasn't dissappointed
mk2 escy ron Posted March 8, 2009 Report Posted March 8, 2009 must say i dont know him but cant stand him as for his music do enjoy hearing his old tracks from time to time BUT would i leave my kids with him certainly not even if the molestation cases werent bought against him ( befor any1 goes on about the media involvment) cos i do believe the guy is wacko
