need help, what plates on a mk1 escort slam panel?

What should be there? Mine has a mark where one defo was, and a retagular hole with 2 small holes on the sides that looks like perhaps another goes there? Or is it just the Vin on the panel?

should be 2 plates i think? one with trim stuff i think and one with other stuff

thanks, but no they didn't. I have the id, its just the plates are not on the car as the bay area has been totally stripped back. I have the V5, the numberplates and the vin plate, although its rather battered.

s you face the front of the car, you should have a VIN plate to the left of centre, and a body plate to the right.

yup, the body plate is awol then. what do i do about that?

dont need the body plate, it was somthing ford done when it was being built,the important plate is the vin plate

There is a guy who had an ad in Classic Ford i think who will make you a new plate if you have the requirements he needs for proof of ownership. I dont have any details though.
