Mr Sam Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 id be very sceptical although some apparently give huge gains but for roughly 15secs before the battery dies
you'll get 10s on that Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 not that I'm ever the sceptic.....but....30 minutes to fit £100 outlay and 20bhp........why aren't we all using these?...wonder why you can't purchase in Germany..USA etc??????. Hey if you got the money why not....
caprifan Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 ......if you want to dry your hair with it then go for it....if you want a supercharge your car don't.....

X-pack-Glyn Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 theyre total the round ones chaps... an ellectric fan is capable of moving a lot of air but it cannot compress it! if you want a real supercharger gat an Eaton m45 for a pinto/crossflow 1600+ or a g40 g-lader for a crossflow up to 1600cc.

trickyturbo Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 what a load of shite, if you speak to any engine builder that has a clue he will tell you that the first rule of more power in an engine is: "an engines power is determined by the amount of air and FUEL it can consume" so if you cram more air in there you will need the extra fuel or you will more than likely loose power and cause damage to your engine these are also a modified ducted fan unit for a model airplane, and are not designed to compress air just to move it a load of shit dont waste your money, and if you dont want to take my advice i can get you them for about 50 quid and still make 45 quid so give us a call
capriedd Posted December 13, 2006 Report Posted December 13, 2006 been there and done that. I went and bought one like it off ebay for my corsa. it slowed the car down more than anything. really dont bother with wasting your money.

How about a nice Wade RO34 for your Essex. Loads of second-hand kits available. Some come up on ebay from time to time. Can be polished and look really nice. Failing that, Paxton type centrifugal blower which mounts at the front of the engine. Good power. OR a bit of N02 BUT don't bother with these electric things, they are only good enough for removing noxious gasses from passenger compartments. It's all toilet
Cookie Posted December 13, 2006 Report Posted December 13, 2006 I love this bit,Up To 20 + BHP Increase, Guaranteed!!!. What the fook does that mean ,your going to get at least 1 bhp I know, i was gonna mention this aswell, how the fook can you gurantee an up to??????? dodgy me thinks
