nelly231 Posted March 27, 2009 Report Posted March 27, 2009 Over 200bhp of free revving, lightweight reliable power! It was definately a good decision for me.
RUSTYPUP Posted March 27, 2009 Report Posted March 27, 2009 I love my red top. Still using it everyday and still smiling everyday! I've had it a couple of times when people rush over to talk to me about the car, and when they hear it has a Vauxhall engine they grunt and walk off in disgust! Excellent! So yeah do it!
mk1super Posted April 5, 2009 Report Posted April 5, 2009 How small does that engine look in the capris bay, you could get a V10/12 in there i reckon
walsh253 Posted April 5, 2009 Report Posted April 5, 2009 HOW COULD YOU DO THAT balls to them all if they dont like it
SAF_Capri Posted April 5, 2009 Author Report Posted April 5, 2009 cheers, hope to have it running by wkend
LEONMEX Posted April 5, 2009 Report Posted April 5, 2009 do like a nice xe,few of my mates are vauxhall nuts & they get fookin good power for not alot of money. Up the purists.
Yeomans22 Posted April 5, 2009 Report Posted April 5, 2009 looks great, i've wanted to put one of these engine into a capri for ages now, was offered a capri for £50 a couple of years back, but before i could say i wanted it he scrapped it, i planed to do this engine then as the car was so cheap
SAF_Capri Posted April 5, 2009 Author Report Posted April 5, 2009 beemer engines are a sound choice, wouldnt mind an M5 in a Mk1 Capri
BaileyMex Posted April 18, 2009 Report Posted April 18, 2009 Your car mate, do what ever you want, I'm not being a purist but I'd rather keep a ford lump of some description under my bonnet
Mr Sam Posted April 19, 2009 Report Posted April 19, 2009 this is OLD SKOOL FORD not some purist RS / capri club anything that can beat the living shit out the jap crap is game
