Look impressive out my hotel room window though, business trips are such a bitch Tomorrow I'm expected to Ski I last tried this mucho dangerous activity on a dry ski slope in Southampton in 1989! I gave it up as a dangerous lark (ask Natasha Richardson). Tomorrow however I expect to come hurtling down one of these slopes.........................................................on my face using my nose for a brake!! Well I tried to opt for propping up the bar and giving moral support to the skiers but that wasn't accepted so death on the slopes here I come. And Andy, it's a networking trip arranged by one of the firms we use as an interior outfitter, the owner lives here.
richie_stix Posted March 27, 2009 Report Posted March 27, 2009 Tomorrow I'm expected to Ski I last tried this mucho dangerous activity on a dry ski slope in Southampton in 1989! i broke my leg on that ski slope! split my femur (thigh bone) right up the middle, from just above the knee to nearly my hip... bone almost went throught the skin! and i was only 11... i was in hopsital for 3 months total, not to mention 2 months in a wheel chair and several on a zimmer frame and crutches!

Sounds nasty! I have just survived my first day with only one minor spill!
