What's parking like at Brighton & Hove Albions football ground?

Depending on when the meet will be (If on a Saturday) you'd need to check to see whether they're playing at home or away

I have tried Hastings Council and Portsmouth City Council but neither have replied or even acknowledged my enquiry

As for the racecourse at Brighton ... this was dismissed last year cos there's fook all else there and they wanted too much money.

I like the idea of Witterings as it is a lovely beach and I have stayed at Scotts campsite many times (not recently though and just viewed their website and they say "absolutely no groups" http://www.scotts-farm-camping.co.uk/tariffs.asp) and it is a big campsite.

As other people have said, perhaps we should look at this option and cancel L2B for this year and try to get Madeira Drive in Brighton for next year

I will speak to the other Mods & Admin as well ... Any more opinions would be appreciated. Thank you.

Oh, and the road down to the beach can get absolutely grid locked in the summer :?:(

There is a Aircooled VW show on Southsea common every year so someone in the council must be be in charge of such matters.

Think we need to pick a venue that already houses a big car meet, so at least we clear one hurdle straight away and this reduces the amount of time we are going to be told to fook off.

I heard on the radio today that Brighton Marina has suspended building work until 2010  , Dont know if its worth talking to them again? 8)

Thanks for the info Kahn, apparently it's not building works that is going to affect our visit after all ... it's an "initiative" .... whatever that means :? Either way, the Marina is a no go :(

how about a beano to margate? or the marina at ramsgate? thanet council are normally good for things like this and i have possible contacts in the foreshore services department. the other option maybe whitstable harbour, again i have contacts with the harbour board and could poss arrange a closure to public cars and maybe even involve the lifeboat station? beach bbq can be arranged easily and plenty of camping

Or M23, A23 to Brighton then A27 along to Worthing, its only 12 miles from Brighton...

Would this not be possible? Worthing does have a lot of space? Has anyone spoken to the council about the possibility?

If not, I can ask?

With regards t brighton, there is a car club there called "Brighton and Hove Car Club" obvious I know, but they help run the Brighton speed trials, one of the guys ho helps them is a guy called Colin (has a RS500) we both run East Sussex RSOC, I can ask if there is any suggestions he can highlight to help
