Because I am sitting on my bed typing this without my glasses on. The reason for this is, I have now got myself Contact Lenses.

 

I have to wear them for 2 hours tonight, then +2 hours every day till I reach the full 10 hours. They are wicked, I can see so much clearer now, and I don't look as ugly

 

Just thought I would share that with you all

i bought pensioner spec reading glasses once, not that i ever read but they did help when i had a tiny ickle monitor.

Tried to change to contacts a few years back, could,nt get on with touching my eyes

I think I'll go back to contacts, I used to wear them when I did refereeing, but havent worn them for some time now. Are the 'wear for a month ' ones soft lenses, and do you just change them yourself?

Yeah, I have quite bad eyesight too! I'm short sighted with astigmatism's in both eyes and I can wear these lenses, they're a bit more expensive but worth it! they're soft lenses, and I get sent 3 packs every 3 months!

I think they're about £25 a month from specsavers.

One of the lads I used to work with had a problem with his eyes. they kinda balloned out like bulets! putting loads of preasure on them.

He went for surgery about 12 months ago where they cut his eyball in half then stich the front half of a donor's eye on to his

 

It all worked o.k. but he has to go in to have the other one done soon!
