Oh yes, Saturday will be a good day because I am off to Staffordshire to pick up an engine for the Angle Box.

I won it on ebay the other night for the sum of £35 and it comes with ancillaries. The lump in question is a rare 1300 Kent Pre Crossflow which has been taken out of a 1968 Mk2 Cortina.

So, after Xmas, the Angry Box will be going a bit quicker :lol::lol:

Nice one Jim..

Uber-Rare motor that.... I've got one in the shed I was going to supercharge as the Shorrock C75b blowers can only run up to 1300..... so it would be ideal, and its 5 bearing crank, big valve head (well same size as a 1500)

So.. even if you blow it to bits in the OSFDC keep the head... ;)

Well it's thanks to your advice that I found one Neil. I didn't know there was a 1300 pre crossflow untill you mentioned it.

Apparently, it has been rebuilt at some point as all the gaskets look "new", but we shall see tomorrow. Another plus point is, I received my seal kit for my brake master cylinder this morning, so I will be fitting that before the Ace on the 23rd.

See you all there :D:D:D

BTW, I will upload a couple of piccys tomorrow for you all.
