Admin Mk2Jo Posted April 24, 2009 Admin Report Posted April 24, 2009 boys and girls .... can anyone recommend really good quality cd's to put music onto ... ones that don't start to chip and flake after only a short time Thanks
Trevmk3 Posted April 24, 2009 Report Posted April 24, 2009 weve used verbatim ones that dont seem too bad, same with TDK and maxell. just dont throw them about Jo, just stay calm and place them
Admin Mk2Jo Posted April 24, 2009 Author Admin Report Posted April 24, 2009 lol ... they're not actually for me, they're for a bloke at work
richie_stix Posted April 24, 2009 Report Posted April 24, 2009 don't use supermarket own brands... they are the ones that normally fail the quality assurance test at the major brands and are sold on cheap to tesco and the like!
tazrocks88 Posted April 24, 2009 Report Posted April 24, 2009 i always use infiniti for CD's and DVD's the dvd's are samurai's but cant remember if the cd's have a brand lol but there good quality anyway
richie_stix Posted April 24, 2009 Report Posted April 24, 2009 don't forget the actual quality of the mp3 will affect quality! it pisses me off how many people copy music at 128 kbps... it simply wont do! you need around the 200kbps for good quality!
2.8i Cossie Posted April 24, 2009 Report Posted April 24, 2009 if you are having problems playing CD's etc cos of scratches use a drop of Autoglym SRP or another polish with a fine abrasive. It smoothes the scores and can help them to work again! I have done this on a few CDs and DVDs with MINOR scratches and always stopped them skipping! not really topic so ill post this I use Corporate express liberated from wifes company! But any CD will last long as long as you treat it well!
flyingbanana Posted April 24, 2009 Report Posted April 24, 2009 verbatim is good make also tuffdisk, datasafe their are more.....i always buy my disks from here and they are cheap http://svp.co.uk/
GJUK Posted April 24, 2009 Report Posted April 24, 2009 Datasafe. Used them for years, better quality than verbatim and much cheaper. (I go through maybe 100 of these a week on average (DVD and CDRS). J
