it came with capri 4 spokes

 

 

which are far to wide

 

 

 

shes a 1.1 with 45k, needs a few bis doing but nothing major.....mainly stripping the interior and getting some more BHP from 1117cc

 

OSF sticker and leccy ignision are allready ordered

 

18.7 is the target time

unfortunatly it clashes with the would be sister in laws b'day so im off to that...

 

Classic Ford will be its strip debut gives me a month to get a few bits done

 

without shelling out on more tyres for the laser wheels they arent going to fit so im gonna sell them but nick the tyres for my pepperpots

its back on skinny lil steels for the moment till i can afford to go have some of the tyres taken off the 4 spokes and put on some pepperpots i have

Its only 20 to have your tyres off, then you can sell the 4 spokes to pay to have the tyres put back on

cheers mate and hell yes it is the mk3 just isnt the same it may have nearly double the power and luxharies like power steering......but it just doesnt go BRAAAAAAAAAAAP of leave rubber on the ground in 2nd

steels now have fresh paint and chrome

 

 

it did have these in it, but they werent bolted in at the back all they need is an extra hole drilling in the runners and a couple extra bolts and i will probably put them back in, same as my daily so i know there nice and comfy and hold you in well

 

got a bucket seat ive had lying around so this afternoon i speant a few mins modding one of the spare runners an mounting it on said seat only to find there too close together DOH! so just need some angle iron from B&Q to finish that off

 

rear seats are brown and very shabby, no dout they will be coming out soon

 

oh and picked up a grommet and a fan belt from halfrauds, rear wiper motor coming out tomorrow

 

oh and some L plates for the Mrs

 

 

for the time being i have these

 

been for a good drive this evning still loving every second of it!!! got a stiff back and neck though

engine wise so far all ive done is drill the airbox

 

got the timing light out but couldnt see the notch in the crank pulley, its very lumpy on tickover so timing or points need some adjustment

 

oh and the wafer thin rad will be replaced with an XR spec one
