Im really hankering for a set of big 2 up 2 down spots for my Mk2. Im aware Cibie are the way forward but what do you guys run? I found this picture of slimrs' old 1300 sport and it is exactly the look I want.

I take it these are Super Oscars and I really like the arrangement. Where can I buy such brackets as a pose to the standard rally style ones? ie:

I love spots on any classic ford but when I saw that 1300 sport it really made my mind up. Can anyone recomend where to go to purchase them? Cheers, Miller

I was thinking of getting the lamps from rallydesign, theyve always been really good when Ive brought stuff from them before. Gonna have to have a look aroudn at prices I think. They are super oscars on that sport arn't they? They look bigger than standard oscars to my eyes.

Hmm, now Im thinking with going with the other style brackets, as I'd like to keep the spoiler for now. I just kinda liked the way the lights overhung so far on that sport in the pictures but in practice I dont know if that would be such a good thing.

Keep posting pics guys, some great ones which Im saving for reference

Thanks, Miller

Im now fairly sure im gonna go for 4 super oscars using the same brackets and layout as RWDmad. I got a price direct from valeo through work and It was considerably more than what companies are selling the on ebay for so Im thinking its time to get some funds into the paypal account. Question is do I want that Limited slipper diff more?

Given the choice Limited slip diff all day long for me

Ha, im gonna get both! I said I would save some of the money from selling the Mk1 but I'd rather do something interesting with it.

One more thing, with 2 up 2 down lights what is the general arrangement? Ie driving lights at the top, fogs at the bottom etc? Ive only ever had a pair of spots before.

Loving all these pictures! :D
