SAMMYBOY Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 My boss has a road angel........says its the dogs.........
evil knievel Posted May 12, 2009 Report Posted May 12, 2009 the sat nav ones you can download onto your tomtom are pretty good..... you'll never get a ticket again......... cos the bloody thing never stops going off!
4parajon Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 Ive got the road angel navigator which is pretty good. Combines both a sat nav system and the speed camera awareness. Although I have to say the sat nav is'nt as user friendly as the TomTom's. Dont think any of the current camera detecters detect the mobile vans as such, but there is a system that you can have fitted to your car that covers them, was expensive tho and I can't remember the name of it, I get letters of them every few months.
SAMMYBOY Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 Has his dog got any points for speeding? Very good......
Takeshi Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 I have a Road Angel Sat Nav with the built in detector... Amazing peice of kit, pics up pretty much everything.
accord83 Posted May 13, 2009 Report Posted May 13, 2009 My son has one sat in his bedroom, whilst he contemplates the last 2 monthe of a 6month totting up ban (muppet). He had another system hooked up as well. still got caught 4 times. Drive like a prat, win a mountain bike. He is getting very fit though
Takeshi Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 Oh of course you will still get caught if you drive like a hothead everywhere. There is no replacement for your own sense, or lack of it lol.
Stu_B Posted May 14, 2009 Report Posted May 14, 2009 I use one of these Not had any problems in the last 5 years or so
