I;d have taken more picks, but i was in a rush. Nice and origional though! Needless to say, i plan to make an offer for it next time i'm in the area! Chris

fezza Posted December 17, 2006 Report Posted December 17, 2006 Good luck with that mate,if the owner is up for selling you might get a bargain ,i see a base model mk2 2 door around my area a while ago,found out where he lived and poped round there just to see if he wanted to sell it thinking i might get a bargain ,had a chat and before long he started going on about how 5 million people have asked him to sell it and was offered thousands and thousands i thought here we go,turns out he knows nothing about these cars and was just using it to go to work but from the interest he got and people telling him they are worth quite a bit these days he wanted silly money for it fair enough i suppose his car but..............................ahh well
