Or are some people really strange.

 

I was ringing round to get some insurance quotes for my brothers car, now it's 1.6. In my mind a 1.6 is a small engine. Not according to the insurance companies though.

 

1 guy was like 'oooo' thats quite a big engine really................. errr no it isn't

dom isnt that young though and its far from his first car :P i was told a 2.0 was a big engine for my first car 2.0s capri and i did pay £1564 for insurance on it :P

just been looking at quotes for various cars as i'm bored of my euro box polo and want a slightly more entertaining daily at the slight expense of economy!

 

1995 bmw 1.8i e36.... £370

my current 1998 polo 1.4cl... £420, and that was after ages of searhcin, the beemer quote was 5 mins!

 

i don't know, little cars seem to be expensive?!

because most young people go for small cars thinkin they will be the cheapest, when they price of the insurence on them has been goin up an up an up, simply because young people drive them and crash them, so chances are you would be able to get summert bigger and faster and insure it cheaper because yound people dont drive them

haha, just found the 1st insurance agreement i ever had, 6 years ago on a 1.4i rover 200, R reg, 18yrs old, new driver..................£2146.66, hahahahaha, and i paid it cause that was the cheapest, :mrgreen:

I disagree....1.6 is a big engine for a young persons first car..

 

1.6 x flow on 40s in mk1 escort my first car insurance £680 :mrgreen: But is 27 young or old :?
