BaileyMex Posted May 25, 2009 Report Posted May 25, 2009 Not sure where to post this really, Got a nice glycerin filled fuel pressure gauge to fit, Is it ok to fit it in-line in between the twin carbs themselves or will that not give an accurate reading as the fuel has already passed the first carb
LEONMEX Posted May 25, 2009 Report Posted May 25, 2009 when i fitted my pressure reg i was told fit it as close to the carbs as poss but before the actual carbs,so my guess is in between them would'nt be as accurate as it should be.
JP. Posted May 25, 2009 Report Posted May 25, 2009 Just before the carbs. If you'r running a Filterking in the enginebay you can mount it on it ( just remove the brass plug).
caprinerd Posted May 25, 2009 Report Posted May 25, 2009 mounted the filterking on the bulkhead with the gauge on it
BaileyMex Posted May 25, 2009 Author Report Posted May 25, 2009 already got a filter king mounted on the inner wing had a look for a removable lug and all I can see is this, but not sure if it comes out
Noodles Posted May 25, 2009 Report Posted May 25, 2009 Filter king ones are in the top they did come with the option for the guage as a extra.
BaileyMex Posted May 25, 2009 Author Report Posted May 25, 2009 It is a filter king bud, must be a proper old old skool version
w p e Posted May 25, 2009 Report Posted May 25, 2009 if you read the destructions it tells you to fit gauge set pressure then remove the gauge. fit the new one just after the filter king outlet 2.1/2- 3lb
caprinerd Posted May 25, 2009 Report Posted May 25, 2009 fit a gauge in the fuel line before the carbs
