Simon what a time! what a car! what a engine! well done cus  well done as well to me old Dad who in retirement still producing stonking engines :worship: although he was saying the other day he is coming out of retirement for a while cos he can`t live on the crap pension he & me mum get as well as keeping his own car going :ykt:

A front wheel drive crossflow fezza running a 13.3 at 104 mph get some slicks on there si to get that sixty foot down & that car will easily run in the 12s!

It just goes to show you that the good ole x/flows still kick arse bettering some pinto times as well as others!

There was a real clean silver harrier running one of our 1700 x/flows 153bhp running a stock 3.9 diff, road tyres loads of wheelspin ran a 14.4 never been to a dragstrip before was over the moon!

Well done Andy/Wakesy

Also Ian -Harrier ran well in another harrier with one of our x/flows 1700/156hp in the 15s he just needs to put aside his pipe & slippers until after his run up the strip :ykt::lol::wink:

Well done Simon for putting together a fantastic looking car and for running very quick times, and well done to Ron for building you a stonking engine.

The only way I'll beat that time is if you give me a 2 second head start !!

Well done si, you estimated right then  , deffo get a pair of slick on the front and you'll be seeing 12's mate for sure. Unfortunately i didnt get to see you there because i was too busy sheltering from the sun, next time though
