fastferretzetecmk1 Posted June 1, 2009 Report Posted June 1, 2009 ** STOP PRESS: FIRST MEET 14TH JUNE - SEE HERE: http://www.oldskoolford.co.uk/phpBB2/vi ... c&start=15 Had a quick chat with a few guys on the OSF stand sunday about holding a Maintance day at my workshop, just wanted your ideas and what you think about the whole idea, Ive ran the same thing in the past for ,local landrover and classic VW forums in the past with great results, i open my workshop for a full weekend for people to come and use my equipement and skills if needed to do pretty much anyting they need to, i have two 2 poster ramps and one 4 poster ramp, the workshop and yard will hold approx 15 cars, all i ask in return is a few quid in the pot for tea and coffee, there are loads of b+bs about for people wanting to stay over the weekend, We are a fully equiped workshop with all tools needed to do allmost any jobs, from welding to fabricating, electics and fault finding, How its worked in the past is as you know some members may be good at one thing and other good at another, just helps lesser qualified people getting jobs done, anyway your ideas would be good, anybody wanting to chat you can get me at the garage on 0121 708 0602 or mobile 07816 303541, cheeRS Mick Oh almost forgot, this would be limited place thing and numbers would be needed before hand, and a rough idea of works needed, this would depend on how many people are willing to help out on the spanners,

simonw Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 could do both, meet at garage in afternoon then cruise to the pub, somewhere like the Maltshovel at stonebridge. Easy to find (Jun 6 M42) for anyone coming later, big car park.
