...from work for warning my girlfriend they were checking up on her, rather than take it as a bit of advice she went n spoke 2 her manager saying she knew they were checking her stats and then hes come 2 me now im f*****g suspended for gross misconduct, gotta go in for a disciplinary tomorrow at 9am, im well and truely screwed...

Sounds a bit extreme tbh, does it say on your contract of employment that you can't tell her?

 

Just deny you said anything to her, they have to prove it, don't they?

 

 

My employers put me on a final written warning and demoted me to fitter from Production Manager because I didn't ring head office about an accident.... :(

feels a bit harsh if you ask me, especially seein as how much work i actually get done for them, ungrateful bunch of twunts!

 

dont really know what i should do, cant really deny it as i already said i warned her but they dont know shes the missus coz been a bit worried about everyone finding out, gonna have to tell em 2morrow and then they might understand i felt a bit of a duty to help her out etc etc!

 

i dunno, will find out tomorrow morning, wish me luck peoples as no job will = no escort fun times =(

Probably best to try and see if they are likely to be considering dismissal, and if they are resign before the disciplinary, or you will have it on your record...

 

The big problem is they put the case for the prosecution, you put the case for the defence, then they decide if they are right or you are right. :sad: They are judge, jury and executioner...

If I was you I would let them know that she is your girlfriend. I think you should just be perfectly honest with them. What have you signed in the way of secrecy for them to have acted this way?

:shock: tossers how long have you been there m8? Is the company doing well ? It just seems a lot of companies are doing this these days if there not doing so well as they get out of paying you redundancy. IF they do its going a bit pete tong.

I learnt a harsh lesson years ago.... NEVER WORK WITH WIFE/GIRLFRIEND/SIGNIFICANT OTHER.

 

a golden rule il never break ever again! esp when you split with her and start seeing another girl from the same office!

DO NOT resigne, you have to wait months to get dole money make em sack ya :thumbsup:

deny everything they have to prove you said it i cant see your g/f telling them you said anything you could say you were talking an passed a comment an she put two an two together on the other hand if there that funny about summit petit is it worth staying there good luck fella

I wouldn't work for any company that checks stats - sounds like slave driving to me, but I spose thats the territory if your in some sales type target orientated nightmare of a job. I'd RATHER be on the dole, duckin and divin like, sellin knockoffnigel dvds :mrgreen:
