Yeah, whizzy bolts as we used to call them at work

 

Either that Posse, or use some of the little metal clips that clip on an edge & they have a thread in them for the short self tapping "Speed Bolts" (Like whizzy bolts, but not self drilling)

 

Or, have you considered using avdails (Rivnuts). They are like rivets but they are a thread that rivets itself into a piece of metal.

sweet speed bolts look a bit paints .and iam not planing on taking them off .

Held mine on with "tiger seal" same stuff as "stickoflex" but they aint never coming off unless i cut them off,its just like a sticky silicone sealent. But prob would of done it with rivi-nuts or bolted them on if i was doing it again

mine are riveted on, then if you need to remove just drill out the rivet

use skin pins to initially fit the wing then bond it with 3m 9323 b/a adhesive ! J.D. Holds f1 cars together just fine and if you need to get it off just heat it to over 60 degrees and the glue breaks down

3 fixing tabs on the front panel

6 rivnuts in the wing rail

2 rivnuts in the A pillar

1 rivnut in the front of the sill

 

m6 rivnuts used and m6 nuts and bolts

 

2 pence washers

 

fix and align with self tapping screws , and make the hole in the wings not the steel, when all aligned , then drill out for the rivnuts
