It'll get the power down ok providing you only want to drive in a straight line.

It'll try and push you straight on at corners and will shred back tyres..

Keep saving your pennies and you'll get that LSD in the end.

i had a locked diff in my car and at high speeds it was fine but at lower speeds it harder to park and turn.

400bhp what axle are you useing?

posse was running a weld diff in his car that have a lot more power than mine and as far as i know it as been fine for other 2 years of drag raceing.

depends what power and torque you are putting down.... you should learn to drive if you cant put power down which is less than 200bhp 210ftlb torque....

or you have crap tyres. a good set of tyres will cost near enough the same as a 2nd hand LSD and i know which i'd rather have......

the new tyres!

i have had an Tran X LSD fitted today by kev at WPE and its a revalation mate

transforms the way the car drives even with my luke warm cross flow and so much better to drive then a welded diff

would recomend a proper LSD to any one and recomend WPE to fit it top service and its quiet as a mouse too tup stuff :thumbsup::beer:

You might find once you have done it thatthe car really doesnt drive as badly as many people say it will. I honestly didnt have any problems driving with mine, wet or dry, quickly or slowly.

However....I only ever use cheap tires which I suspect allowed the them to 'skip' a bit easier during low speed manouveres. Didnt stop the halfshafts from starting to twist though.

And I dont know how kindly the police take to them either

ive been running a welded diff for the past three years i dont have any probs in the dry goes in straight line and goes round corners ok, at slow speed and tight turning is the only time you willeven notice its welded, in the wet is a whole different experience, arse end is twitchy as fook and do not try and power out of a corner or round about as the arse end will try and over take, i use mine as a daily drive and know when i can and when i cant use the loud pedal
