DanV Posted August 8, 2009 Report Posted August 8, 2009 I sold an E39 528i to buy my 100E. Good car, in fact, cracking car...but thats all it was.. a car! No fun
vibrating_Cake Posted August 8, 2009 Report Posted August 8, 2009 i love them audi q7 massive things with massive engines! he thought going 120mph down an identicle airfield road shaped as a duel carridgeway was big n hard.... until i overtook him. at the chequer flag/traffic lights he gave me the thumbs up though!
stevepeanut Posted August 8, 2009 Report Posted August 8, 2009 I had a 1989 325i and it was a great car. Fairly quick and would kick out the back end and wheelspin everywhere. It only lasted 6 weeks and blew the diff to bits spinning onto a roundabout. It got jammed on a flatbed recovery truck and wouldnt roll back off, it had to be lifted off with a forklift!
SAF_Capri Posted August 8, 2009 Author Report Posted August 8, 2009 livewire----i did take it easy mate, was just 'testing' it

JAY PS Posted August 8, 2009 Report Posted August 8, 2009 Got a Bmw 539d tourer E39 ex-police car ,have owned it for three years and done 35,000miles ,fantastic car with good economy and just done 1000miles in Cornwall and didnt miss a beat These are what Ford should have built in the 90s but BMw is hard to beat
SAF_Capri Posted August 9, 2009 Author Report Posted August 9, 2009 When i looked into the power of the 330d i was quite suprised, only 184bhp, but a whoppig 288lb ft of torque! Very nice cars and a supercharged m3 engine in a mk1 capri is a plan hatching at the moment!
