if there made by lucas. im suprised you get that much miles out of them. they are CACK of the highest order. lucas parts arnt like they used to be. made in china these days i think :roll:

 

however, if your using some other make then i have no idea :lol:

yeah mate, since i got the car about 3 years ago the first service i did on it i replaced all that, new coil, condenser, dizzy cap arm points etc, the condenser lasted abput 18months originally, since then i've been using up the uk's supply!!!!

Luke the ballast resistor is in the original ignition wire on a tina, if its been replaced then it'll be unballasted, check with a meter across the coil should be 12v on start up and drop to 9 once started :thumbsup:

Got a bit bored of em to be honest, the portugal holiday was an overland trek in landrovers through france/spain/portugal and was a dead good laugh so im gonna buy a crap landrover and go greenlaning for a bit of a change :D

No i didn't, all the clubs ive been in have argued so i'm not in any clubs anymore and gonna do my own thing less hastle :mrgreen:

Just as i've allways said mate, i don't do clubs i do me own thing, BSC is the nearest i get :thumbsup:
