sparkycapri Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 I am pretty sure its a fleet model but i thought that they didnt have trim rings round the headlights also
Andrade Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 never seen/heard about anything thats even similar to that
leecccmk1 Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 looks like a buget version for europe
Chris! Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 Its called a standard cortina but alot of people call it the fleet model. I had one as my first car when i was 15 and sold it to a bloke in Reading (i think) about a year later, he has 2
Chris! Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 I am pretty sure its a fleet model but i thought that they didnt have trim rings round the headlights also Im guessing someone added them, they normally have steel headlamp rings painted body colour
stevie.t Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 i think the fleet model did,nt have a glove box or passanger sun visor, the cortina script on the front looks like the ones on the austrlian models
Andrade Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 the cortina script on the front looks like the ones on the austrlian models thats correct
V8ian Posted September 6, 2009 Report Posted September 6, 2009 Fleet/base models were available as Mk1 or 2 cortinas, mk1s had a pressed steel grill, as per photo, no carpet, rubber internal mats, no radio, steel dash with no glovebox or provision in the dash for one, no front parcel shelf,, and I think there was a heater delete too, Mk2s came with the same poverty spec, but with the normal alloy grill, but a similar interior full of very little, Anglias also came in the same spec, base model, which was basically a Anglia saloon built to van specification trim, steel grill, painted light rims front and back, and possibly painted bumpers too, rubber mats, no glovebox door etc.
