yorkshireman Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 Hi guys and girls. Im Dave and own a 1990 XR 3i SP Cab, I also drive a none ford motor 'FTO GPX' but u didnt really want to know about the Jab car. Had my XR 3i about 4 years now and been to about a dozen show and several big meets. Love driving topless when the sun is out. Just love old fords and was at Fairhaven this sunday showing my motor and drualing over some awsome Fords on display. I have organised meets before as a member of the FTO owners club and have decided to organise a Retro Ford meet at my workplace here in Leeds. If any of you have some nice motors to show and ur in the Yorkshire region then you are invited to come along. I have posted the details under the regional meets section. Dave (Yorkshireman)

Admin Mk2Jo Posted September 15, 2009 Admin Report Posted September 15, 2009 Hello Dave and welcome to OSF While your X.R.3i is viewed as "old skool" on many of the forums and indeed in Classic Ford Mag, unfortunately it is not classed as Old Skool enough for Old Skool Ford and you will see that we are mainly about the MK1 and MK2 model Escorts and, as such, you won't find any talk of your particular model However, don't let that put you off ... you are more than welcome on the forum, I just thought you might like to be pre-warned that you may not find the information or technical help that you might be looking for on OSF (Old Skool Ford) Like Zetec Van says, there are plenty of Yorkshire folk on the forum
RossMK2 Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 welcome <------- sorry forgot to say that
