What would i need to change my N/A bottom end back to run a turbo? can the pistons be machined or do i need new ones? can i still use the flywheel and clutch? Anything else i have forgotten? Heres a picture of it so you can see what i mean.

I'd sell it mate an just buy a turbo bottom end less trouble and you should make more than enough on it to do that i'd have though :?

Yea i did think about that, its just you never know what your buying second hand, with this one its got new rings, shells and crank etc so i know its going to be a good one. So can i use that flywheel and clutch on a turbo application??

Dude, you'll need new pistons, a head, turbo, inlet etc. You'd be much better off flogging the bottom end you have there and putting the cash towards a complete YBT engine i reckon.

What do you think a fair price is for the bottom end complete with clutch, flywheel, sump and new cosworth racing shells and rings??

Depending on what rods are in it Forge H section or Cosworth Steel and condtion anything from 700-1200 is a fair price

There just std cosworth rods in there.

What size pistons? Make?

Second hand complete set of cossy rods around around 100/150

second hand crank 250-500 depending on grind/condtion

Pistons new are £500 but can be sourced second hand

Second hand lightened flywheels 50 /100

Then it needs to be assembled mains bearings ect

I think there 93mm but cant be sure, they apparantly are Hart 420R Pistons, so with the above prices whats it worth complete with new shells bearings and a titan twin plate clutch. The flywheel hasnt been lightened its a replacement one if that makes any difference.
