davreeve Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 I changed the colour of my fez from yellow to white last March after welding up all the holes and replacing various panels. I only did it white because i obtained the paint for free which was a bad mistake as firstly the quality of the paint was rubbish and secondly i realised that i did,nt like the car in white. So for the last few weeks i have stripped off all the old layers of paint and done it a nice subtle shade of signal amber which may not be to everyones taste but i like it much more than the white. davreeve Posted October 21, 2009 Author Report Posted October 21, 2009 Thanks for the kind comments I tried to get it ready for the last round of the OSFDC but failed by 1 day .But at least by giving myself a target date to finish it by it is now completed otherwise i would probably still be working on it into next year. The paint finish is pretty good all things considered i.e i did it myself in a pokey garage with second rate equiptment.Obviously its not anything like an expensive profesional job but the whole thing was completed for around 150 pounds (and lots of hours graft) so i,m well pleased all in all.

Much progress on your boy,s Fez? its getting there dave, buying bits and the lads in the fiesta room are answering a few questions for me, boy came into some money so im searching bits and stocking them at the mo just got to finish body then rebuild the bottom end and put back together love the colour you chose in the end dave looks mint mate
