MightySprocket Posted November 8, 2009 Author Report Posted November 8, 2009 completed the campaign this morning after 8 hours play... its very good if a little similar to COD 4, but hten I guess its going to be. There are some very good twists and surprises in the plot though I havn't played online yet as there only seems to be yanks that have it. Something that does look good is special ops that can be played single playing or Co-op... loads of mini games (like Zombies)... about 30 games in total with more to be added via DLC in the future all in all, fookin superb see you on the battle field PS3 id 'MightySprocket'

mk3tina Posted November 9, 2009 Report Posted November 9, 2009 yeah get a ps3, i traded in my xbox 360 to get the new ps3 slim, so im one of those people who dont speak out of their arses and just take a side because they own said console as ive experienced both and the ps3 is a much better console. my 360 RROD on me and i just never could trust them again. plus its FREE! to play online on the ps3, like hell will i pay for a console and then pay to use it to play online too, microsoft are such a rip off and make an inferior machine. the 360 is at its limits running new games so struggles to survive the constant playing of them i believe. plus it sounds like a harrier jump jet taking off........then crashing down.

(£140 for the premium and a game)

When PSN gets as big as live (good luck with that ) then we will see which online service is better. xbox has been on its limits since cod4..... cod5 word at war note the differences in gfx..... none really. now.... compare a PC game to an xbox game, or compare ps3 versions to xbox versions.... there are suttle differences between the ps3 and xbox.... and MAJOR differences between the pc and the xbox. it has been pushed to its limits for the past few years, only thing keeping it alive is the software has new engines which use less and less resources to do more and more... check forza 3 out.... anytime it has to load a song mid-race.... lags out when your on xbox live and it has to process someone coming online, lags out when your in a mid race and collide with 3 or more cars, it lags out. forza 3 is out of the xboxes league, and it doesnt even look pretty! yeh the car models are impressive, but other than textures theres no real visual difference between forza2 and 3 tracks, just to limit the GPU use thoughout the game. i mean cod 5waw can be lagged out due to too much smoke and gunshots (theres the limit of the xbox) and im pretty sure the ps3 does a lot better. also, take colin mcrae dirt&dirt two, compare both gfx's between pc (max everything) ps3 and xbox... you'll notice the limiting factor in the xbox. especially the lack of any dust/tyre smoke compared to the ps3 and pc with a lot more to process, they do fine but. for the price, xbox ftw!
