175/60 R13

I was planning to get a set of these, but they don't make them in 175/60

 

Do you guys know of anything similar?

I use 175/60 on my XR2, they are yoko A048R, various compounds available from super soft to hard, I use medium.

I run a 185x60 on the Cortina in Medium - great tyres

Yes they do 50's as I have those as well

i made a big mistake buying 60s, wish i kept me 50s on looks so much better

Yep great tyres for sure & great value...

Take care in their use/storage in less than 0 degree c as they come with a caution on loss of flexibility, can crack and fail...

There are better wet use tyres in the Avon equivalent range but they cost mega-bucks and wear like the 'soft' ones...

im going for 175 55 Avon cr500 cos i dont think 60s will fit under my arches and the 50s i have at the moment are to small.

 

they come standard on caterhams but there not cheep at £100 each

you guys are lucky, here we don't have much tyre choice when it comes to semi slick tyres on a 13" rim

lol, 175/60 is much lower than a 185/55

surely the size of the tyre would depend a lot on the car you have i wouldnt dream of putting a 50 profile on a 13" rim on my capri if you have an escort then you can get away with it, if i used 50 profile my speedo would be so far out it would be impossible to be able to work out any speed i was doing at all, now 15" rims i can use 50 profile with but the 13 is a defo no no

even with 175/50 on me mk2 esky the speedo is still 5mph out, i tested it by sticking being an artic lorry doing 56.

yeah i guess! well thing is i dont wish to buy them right now either cos if they stay sitting there for a year it wont do them any good as tires tend to harden up. but you cant really answer questions like 'will i have enough camber and still have the wheel inside the arch?' without having the right tyres on

those 175 60s look great on that 7j rim.

 

just hope they fit under the arches of my mk1
