jamesg Posted December 29, 2009 Report Posted December 29, 2009 Just ordered a kit from Burton Power, anyone know much about them? Thought it would be a good mod for my trip to the Nurburgring next august
Billy_smith Posted December 29, 2009 Report Posted December 29, 2009 this is gonna cause a mass debate! lol! few people really dont agree about these on ere
JP. Posted December 29, 2009 Report Posted December 29, 2009 Well as a starter of this debate , If the car aint lowered it will work fine. If you have billies up front it won't.(billies are factory lowered). Has something to do with geometrics. I had it on stock suspension & worked fine. After I lowered the frontend it was rubbish (cornering and diving).
Pipster007 Posted December 29, 2009 Report Posted December 29, 2009 Big G loves an anti-dive kit, apparently
Billy_smith Posted December 29, 2009 Report Posted December 29, 2009 hu isit that really doesn't like em? i seem to remeber someone really slating them but i cant remeber hu
willsy Posted December 29, 2009 Report Posted December 29, 2009 If you need one of them get a different girl friend
petrolhead Posted December 29, 2009 Report Posted December 29, 2009 wow, that is the first time I've seen 'who' spelt like that!
rallyesport04 Posted December 29, 2009 Report Posted December 29, 2009 i have one of these my mk1 esc was slightly lower than std height an handled fine but when i fitted the anti dive i also had adjustable height/dampers at the same time
X FLOW EDDY Posted December 29, 2009 Report Posted December 29, 2009 I am haveing the same problam with my mk2 escort, the sumpguard wont fit with the anti dive kit in place so i think a will have to fit double width brackits insted. Seen as mine is lowerd 2 in the double brackits are sounding like the best option.
BIG G Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 These things are rubbish if the car is lowered at all. but i dont mind them really
bigglesmk2 Posted December 30, 2009 Report Posted December 30, 2009 I had one on my mk2 escort and it handled fine ...and my car was lowered 2" all round
