retrorigg Posted January 22, 2010 Report Posted January 22, 2010 whats your soft spot for other classics other than ford, or what other marque do you look at on ebay after fords of course, mine has defo gotta be datsun,s i love them, especially the bluebirds dating back to the 70,s (610 shape),dare i say it id even consider swapping my osf for a nice 70,s datsun next is opel / vauxhalls for the viva,s and chevettes , then hillman for the imps, then ill look at all the others

bortaf Posted January 22, 2010 Report Posted January 22, 2010 Anything really except BL products, had way too many of those to ever go back vivas are OK had a sportshatch and a 1256, chalk and cheese E21 BMs early RWD mazdas and Datsuns or a Toyota celica 2.0GT coupe, i had a 78 twincam one, went like stink, 5 speed box LSD in the rear but it e rusted like a ford that was the bad part

My brother had one when i 1st started driving, very low miles and still had it's plastic factory seat covers on and would very occasionally let me drive it. Recently i've been very tempted to see if i can get one.
