quickrack Posted January 3, 2007 Report Posted January 3, 2007 What are they? Some kind of Touring car or what?
Retromotorsport Posted January 3, 2007 Report Posted January 3, 2007 top ones are Gp Zackspeeds 2.0 BDA 's .. and sorta leaf sprung , Normally seen in D&W sponsorship The other pic is the " Daddy" .. The GP5 Zackspeed Escorts ....... Or should i say the roof and pillars of an escort as thats the only bits used, full alloy spaceframe, dry sump BDT engines with ZF boxes, 6 linked rear Atlas axle on long and wide links, the link boxes are visable through the open door and set high up as the cars ran on the floor, Fuel tanks were 2 Marston fuel bladders in the prop tunnel either side of the prop, the dry sump tank sat next to the driver (oh the good old dangerous days) Power out puts from 480bhp to 570 bhp , wheels where normally 10x16 and 12x 16/18 The laptimes where the same as the more famous Zackspeed Capris that came later . Do i like them.. you bet your left hairy nut I do Hazzar have a look here ... http://www.oldskoolford.co.uk/phpBB2/vi ... php?t=7958 Gp4 spec car (now Class A) with Gp2 Kit on
105Nick Posted January 4, 2007 Report Posted January 4, 2007 I loved that white replica with blue stripes that was on the cover of CF a few years back. That car was just superb.
