Andrade Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 Tried to spend some quality photoshop time messing around with a two tone combination. What do you guys think?
Andrade Posted February 3, 2010 Author Report Posted February 3, 2010 white and grey looks very nice having the top of the car brighter than the bottom makes it look a bit wider too, spraying the whole car in a dark color makes it look too thin for my tastes.. I have never seen an anglia with a similar two tone, usually the only parts that are painted in a separate color are the side stripes and roof. i'm starting to like how this is looking
Stu_B Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 I did a similar concept for my old Estate, it was old fashioned paper & pen though. I'll upload it
Andrade Posted February 3, 2010 Author Report Posted February 3, 2010 I did a similar concept for my old Estate, it was old fashioned paper & pen though. I'll upload it cheers that would be interesting to see I don't know if this can work as good with colors though.. (as in different shades of green for example)
Stu_B Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 It's pretty terrible but you can see what I was thinking
Andrade Posted February 3, 2010 Author Report Posted February 3, 2010 hahaha almost looks real! i think those rear wheels should be visible from the window too
stevie Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 That looks great, two tones on old cars looks cool as hell in my opinion. The steels look better than the alloys too. Very good colour combination, almost identical to my old Husky
5hane Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 looks good, although i dont like the panneled rear windows
Andrade Posted February 3, 2010 Author Report Posted February 3, 2010 looks good, although i dont like the panneled rear windows it's the only goodish resolution photo i have of an estate from the rear, it was like that i only did a quick edit to change the color (i dont like the panneled rear either)
mexman123 Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 Stu, did you get some new crayons for christmas?
Andrade Posted February 10, 2010 Author Report Posted February 10, 2010 I don't know if the same idea works with color.. what do you think?
D-FENS Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 The green combo looks fanbloodytastic mate .
SAMMYBOY Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Ohhh Liking the green......Thats the danglies!!!! I`d go for that...Modern touch too....
X-pack-Glyn Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 I think two tones been out this year at her biggest, not sure who had her out though? i know she was cought on a squid 2T though which i sell for £10 a kilo in 20mm
Andrade Posted February 10, 2010 Author Report Posted February 10, 2010 thanks people i'm really considering this option. i still have to find a correct shade of color that actually goes together but the photo gives a good idea of what it might look like. thanks again
SAMMYBOY Posted February 10, 2010 Report Posted February 10, 2010 Top would look good Ford Crystal Green metallic.......bottom could be any darker shade really.....Look the bomb........
