depends how you drive, for normal day to day drivin, not fast round the corners, then probs not, but if you like to go round corners faster than other drivers then yes, i fitted an oval one years ago and i wouldnt have it any other way now.

depends how hard you drive it, trackdays etc i do notice the difference, general road driving meh, you can and you cant.

one thing to do, jack up the car on the floor strengthener part of the chassis as high as you can, look at shutlines on bonnet/doors

compare them to standard with the car on the floor

do the same with a strut brace fitted, big difference!

i have to jack my car up to fit the strut brace between the struts because its a little bit too short, so jacking it up "flexes" the wings towards themselves meaning the brace fits =)

further to cake... and the more important one...

measure your strut pins with the car on the floor... and then jack it up under the x-member, and re measure .. the difference is what the strut brace stops.

as for noticing the difference .. Aryton Senna may do.. in a rod ended everywhere and rigid chassis.. but an escort without a weld in turetted and strut connected cage .. doubt it.. And even a stop watch would be hard pressed to get a difference..

The Real Gain.................. you shells not flexing its joints ..flex joint, break weld and paint.. ohhh thats why that bulkhead to inner wing join rots
