davreeve Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Will anyone be taking an interest in F1 this year? I think the last couple of seasons have become more entertaining than the multi million pound follow the leader show of previous years plus the Lotus F1 team is based only a couple of miles from where i live so it will be good to see if they can steadily improve.
banarama Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 not really bothered .like rallying better . proper driving. sideways
Trevmk3 Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 i shall be watching it, think it will make it interesting on the tight first corners with full race fuel on board
SmokeEm Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 I'll be watching to see if Jenson or Lewis is the real deal
Fiesta Steve Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Lots of Cosworth powered cars this year, shame they are all slow
SAMMYBOY Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Im hoping Vettell and rosberg do well.......
MK2 Harrier Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 I have been watching the practice sessions today on the red button.
D4N Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 not been reading the motorsport news since i moved out so what are the new rules for this year?
caprinerd Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 i`ll be watching it, local team are entered into it this year in their own colours, dont expect them to do much but will be good to see the lotus back out
DEP Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 not been reading the motorsport news since i moved out so what are the new rules for this year? Dont know all of them, but there is no refuelling allowed and i think the front tyres are slightly narrower.

Is there a money budget or spend what the hell they want? here you go http://www.formula1.com/inside_f1/rules ... ions/8692/ should of been 26 cars on the grid but the yank team pissed about and didnt get their act together and probably wont do for next season, there was a russian team ready for the 13th team slot but F1 being F1 they went for the American team, its a shame as the others were all set to start producing their own chassis and the points system should be good as it it the same as they use in bike racing
CossiePower Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 ill be watchin when i can looks like a good season
Trevmk3 Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 oh and everyone seems to be pissed off with Mclaren already as they have an air inlet system on the chassis which usually directs more air over the rear wing, which can be closed by the drivers left knee on straights to give a higher top speed due to a little less drag
D4N Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 oh and everyone seems to be pissed off with Mclaren already Nowt changed there then
marky4 Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 i'll be watching and hopefully there will be 5 or 6 drivers fighting for the title this year

Roll on Sunday and may the best man win.............................unless of course the best man is schumacher in which case may he have cow pats in his path at every corner
Durham Fiesta Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 F1 does nothing for me , whats the point in having cars that can't nudge each other and properly battle for position Touring cars are so much more entertaining
cortinasgoneforaburton Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 I am more a rally fan but i must admit i will be watching the media circus leading up to the race with new teams and rules it should be quite a good season but dont quote me on that, Looking forward to new touring season too
Admin Vista Posted March 14, 2010 Admin Report Posted March 14, 2010 DULL DULL DULL DULL DULL!!!!!!!!!!! can we have refuelling back now please? 1st half of race = heavy cars that can't overtake 2nd half of race = light cars that need to preserve their fuel, tyres and engines...............so can't overtake what a clusterf**k from the management!
