Mr.Sumo Posted April 22, 2010 Report Posted April 22, 2010 not 1 , but 2 of them in a feckin week Got a ticket through the post from our beloved Council 2 weeks ago , " more than one wheel on the kerb , blah blah blah " , so being the nice bloke i am , paid the cheapy £50 before 14 days fine........ ....what comes through the post this morning , yep , another fine , same place , same feckin offence Time of tickets / photos taken .....2 days after the 1st ticket ! Not impressed As a notorious stopping point for the Tesco Metro accross the road from said spot , i wonder how much our beloved Council have copped in fines.....

one-day Posted April 23, 2010 Report Posted April 23, 2010 ist rule of parking stop get out check for cameras for up to a mile away park car and then pray lol and also remember to check lines making sure no gaps in lines etc etc and correct road arkings and sign post if there is even the slightest problem with double yellow lines it aint a double yellow line and also applys to sngle yellow to..but wheel on kerb is a big no no any where unless stated on sign post .....

Quite right. If any one ever gets a parking ticket then I may be able to help as I design signs & lines for the council. I have all the guidelines here so may be able to help you get off if you think theres a prob & can provide pics can't help with wheels up on the kerb though
