louie bagel Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 for the people who are taking there own drink to santa pod at the weekend be aware that bottle's arnt allowed, and if checked on the gate they will take them away from you , and none of us want to loose beer , Now obviously the people that know me will know i of course dont touch alcohol what so ever
GJUK Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 I can only assume that some chav that was smacked out his face bottled someone at some point in time then? knives and forks next, then maybe people will be banned from taking cars?
Wessie Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 I can only assume that some chav that was smacked out his face bottled someone at some point in time then? knives and forks next, then maybe people will be banned from taking cars? i think its more the risk of getting glass on the track
Jiffer Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 I dont mind the cans but the might struggle getting this one
Jiffer Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 no bbqs? how am I going to feed the boys? not paying for the muck they serve there
JP. Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 Allright bottle aint a problem, I am still on the t.tty. But no BBQ makes me worry a bit. Can't find this info at the Classic Ford Show website........

w p e Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 bbq's are not allowed on the grass so take a proper one and not throw aways. or make a stand of some sorts to put them on
lee_capri Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 should think it's all to do with heath and saftey plus insurance
Jiffer Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 just had a quick read of this, about 5th paragraph http://www.santapod.co.uk/g_essential.php
oddball Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 just had a quick read of this, about 5th paragraphhttp://www.santapod.co.uk/g_essential.php Charcoal bbq's are allowed, just no open fires. Didn't the security go round with a fire extinguisher putting out fires one year?
Mrs O/H/C Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 I read the back of the stand pass where it states no bbqs or open fires.
GJUK Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 NO OPEN FIRESOnly charcoal barbecues are allowed; open fires of any sort are not permitted. Wood will not be allowed on site or to be collected from adjoining private land. So BBQ's are allowed. Bonfires are not. Also No fireworks. Which is a shame because everytime I go to SantaPod, it's always the first thing I pack.
Mrs O/H/C Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 I only quoted what it says on the stand pass
Mr Sam Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 i assume small camp stoves are okay? they can piss off if they think im paying there prices for there quality of food and yes they do do random searches for glass, much like at festivals its a safety thing so either take cans or put your spirits in plastic the guy at the gate searched my car once i told him before he started there was no glass but there is a stanley knife for cutting cable ties and i was quite happy to find it and let him take it,,,,, he said it was fine as long as i didnt go round slashing people
