getting iphone friday so downloading apps ready

 

what would you lot reccomend?

will be on pay as you go so can't have anything that uses internet

Real Racing GTI quite good for a freebie, lightsaber (make sure you hang on to the phone tight though!) Sky + if you have it at home. Lotus Racing is also good if you like F1.

Just out of interest, what style/genre of iPhone apps do people on here like?

 

Racing games etc ?

i prefer the ones that are more helpfull like train timetables and tube maps compaerd to games but the games i go have are the ones you can pick up play for 5 mins then do something else, if that makes sence :S

ive jailbroken mine so dont have to pay for any apps. plus ive got community made ones like ports of Doom, Quake and Wolfenstein 3D. Id suggest fruit ninja as well to everyone. simple but stupidly addictive. Plus making a link to http://iphone.tvcatchup.com/ on your home screen means if youve got 3g you can watch tv anywhere.
