Hi, I was directed to this site by a good friend of mine as I'm looking to buy a mk1 Escort & an Anglia 105E for restoration. The Escort is for me & will be a race replica of Dave Brodies "Run Baby Run" car.

The Anglia's going to be for my son to learn to drive in so will have a standard engine for the time being.

I used to own a bodyshop specialising in "top end" restorations until I semi retired. I recently finished a full resto job on my '69 Camaro which was a full nut & bolt rebuild. The car has a 540 hp small block & is set up fot historic circuit racing

I just tried to post a link to some pics of the cars but I didn't realise i had to post 10 times before doing so, DOH!! Once I've done that i'll post up some pics for ya

Looking forward to making some new friends here

cheers....Nige

Glad you're happy with the repairs, now get it wrapped!! I was gonna post up some pics of the Brodie car I want to replicate, but hadn't posted up enough stuff :( . Has anyone on here copied Dave Brodies car yet??

Dunno if people on here would want to see an old '69 Chevy Camaro anyways as it's not a Ford
