stuartp Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 so if it's set to 2 hours (which is the longest i can do) it won't waste too many credits even if i'm out for a few hours - makes sense ta
Savvi Posted January 10, 2012 Author Report Posted January 10, 2012 Looking to do an order again soon if anyones interested ? Still the same deal at present £196 posted to your door, paypal sent as a gift Thanks
FBF Posted January 11, 2012 Report Posted January 11, 2012 Am i right in thinking that if put in a container you cant track the car as it is essentially a mobile phone connercted to device locator?
Savvi Posted January 11, 2012 Author Report Posted January 11, 2012 At present nothing is guarenteed in a container, i very much doubt even a mobile phone will work in a container. I have been told of a device that will stil work in a container but it's still being developed, no one in the industry can work out how it's going to do it as it does need a Gps & Gsm signal to send any data. With trackers it's all about timings, if the car is moved the tracker is able to alert you / control centre who ever instantly, then you can follow it on screen, in using my one it text's & emails you and then you can follow it on a smart phone if you want to. You can also set a motion sensor, by pressing the arm button on the control panel (from Pc, laptop or phone) even if the car is nudged, door opened or locks screwdrivered if the unit is moved in any way it sends a message out, 1 guy who bought one from me had this when a 40ft artic got so close to his parked car the vibrations set the alert off, he found the driver had gone over the rough car park at normal speeds instead of slowing down very close to his car, another had his car on a ramp in the air and knocked the pillar while moving something past the ramp and it set the motion sensor off !!!! With insurance approved systems they work that if the car is moved without the ignition being turned on they alert the call centre, they then ring you to check if the car should be moving if not they alert the Police.
stuartp Posted January 11, 2012 Report Posted January 11, 2012 Been meaning to post on here in praise of the tracker device that Savvi is offering - recent events make this the time to do so. It's easy to set up (although if you are a bit thick also easy to get something slightly wrong so it doesn't quite work - doh!) It's great value and the fact that you aren't tied to a fixed regular payment is excellent - you pay for how much it gets used and you have full control over how often it send it's messages etc. The ability to check up on it on your phone is a brilliant feature Also the motion sensor is very sensitive, it literally does know if the car door gets opened and someone gets in I'd highly recommend
tazrocks88 Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 i will definitly be investing in one of these when i have the car on the road and funds to do so!!!
Savvi Posted January 12, 2012 Author Report Posted January 12, 2012 Unfortunatly it doesnt have to be finished and on the road to be stolen The unit im using now is a updated version with twice the amount of satillites being received and twice the battery life of the originals. You can hide this in anywhere in or on the car and it will still work, if left alone to "sleep" the battery is reported to last upto 28 days on a full charge !!! For the cars that are in use i have also supplied a charge lead with a mini usb on one end which plugs into the unit and a red & black wire which goes to a live and earth, no antenna's all built in and the size of a matchbox, it's as easy as that !!! At extra cost again i can also supply a magnetic carry case, this enables you to stick the device up under the car inner wing etc.
Savvi Posted January 24, 2012 Author Report Posted January 24, 2012 For those who are not sure how these work i put togeather this to give you an idea of how easy it is to use:
Savvi Posted February 9, 2012 Author Report Posted February 9, 2012 Hi Guys I need to order some trackers in, Boxxer has had his unit done over stealing a trailer and wrecking a horsebox and his recovery truck !!!! He has used my tracker and knows that if either truck had one in it he would have been alerted much quicker, they were in his yard for over 2 hours trying to get the truck going etc. he knows that by watching back cctv. I need a min order but want to get him a unit asap ............. So is anyone else interested in having one of these ? I've had 2 really good reports of the units i've sold of just how good they work, i'll not post the details unless the members are ok with it but both times people were alerted and in one case tracked the car down after it being impounded by the Police It's the same deal i need palpay paid in before i order £196 including the charge lead to colinrowe@excite.com Thanks Colin
stuartp Posted February 10, 2012 Report Posted February 10, 2012 i recommend these trackers get one bought if you haven't already
Savvi Posted February 12, 2012 Author Report Posted February 12, 2012 Thanks Stuart Glad your happy with it Im ordering tomorrow so anyone else intersted i need to know by this evening. I do find it hard to belive that more peeps are not buying these, spending thousands on your pride & joy but wont spend a couple of hundred to keep it where you can see it !!!!! This is the panel you see on the Pc once you have logged in: QOnCUrnJhEg You can "arm" the device so even if the car is rocked by a door opening or window being smashed it will alert you by text & email, one of the purchasers has had this happen to his car and caught the guy looking into the car whilst in his workshop, if you dont want anyone knowing on here you have purchased one just Pm or email info@savvitrak.co.uk Thanks Colin 1
Savvi Posted October 18, 2012 Author Report Posted October 18, 2012 Hi All A little update on this ............ I've had some calls about the tracking panel not working, i have also had the same issue on my laptop although the kids Pc worked fine, so been playing about and found that by uninstalling Microsoft Silverlight and then installing it again then everything is back working. Not sure if it's where the panel has been updated or a problem with Silverlight but anyone having problems this should sort it. I downloaded from here: http://www.microsoft.com/silverlight/ Also anyone who has internet on their phone you can use this web address which is the mobile version slimmed down for quick access: http://www.mytrackpanel.com/#login Top ups can be found at www.savvitrak.co.uk Thanks Colin

Savvi Posted January 28, 2013 Author Report Posted January 28, 2013 Hi Guys A little Bump, i got 2 of these in stock ready to go, same deal as before let me know if your looking to get ready for the new show season.
Savvi Posted July 4, 2013 Author Report Posted July 4, 2013 Evening AllAfter being told not to worry about the warning message when signing into your device I've found out today that the tracking company have decided to swap all the units over to a newer sim card.So can anyone who has purchased one of these units Pm me with your name address and Device ID number so if needed I can get new sims sent out to you all. This only applies if when you sign into the Pc control panel it brings up a message about the sim car changing ........... if you don't get that message you don't need to worry about Pm'ing me as yours will have already been fitted with the new sim, apparently these are roaming to give a better coverage in some areas to make it more accurate.Sorry for any hassle, I didn't know about this until today otherwise I would have done it sooner, please do it ASAP as I want to try to get it sorted in one hit so as not to upset anyone !!!ThanksColin
5tox Posted October 12, 2013 Report Posted October 12, 2013 ya know what would be really cool? a phone app! i understand you can log in online using your mobile web browser but wouldnt it be convenient to have it all there at the click of a button or is that just me being really lazy lol
Savvi Posted October 12, 2013 Author Report Posted October 12, 2013 I was offered all that including a full Savvitrak branded product, App, control panel etc. they only wanted £5k !!!! I worked out if I sold a couple of thousand I might have just got my money back !!!
Mgentry90 Posted October 12, 2013 Report Posted October 12, 2013 So what happens when the car is stolen just as the battery dies? You get a text to say some ass has stolen it but doesn't then tell you where it is? ... Sounds kinky

You get a text to say some ass has stolen it but doesn't then tell you where it is? ... Sounds kinky runs on an internal battery backup which lasts a week or so after the car battery has been disconnected, should be plenty enough time to rally up some of the lads to go and reclaim the car
Savvi Posted October 12, 2013 Author Report Posted October 12, 2013 They can last up to a month in certain conditions, i supply a car charge lead, which i recommend you fit so the unit is topped up whilst driving. They also have motion alert and once set it up it will txt you when the internal battery is getting low so you can charge it, if not using the car daily. 1
Savvi Posted June 2, 2014 Author Report Posted June 2, 2014 In light of Stuart having his Mk1 stolen last week and having one of these trackers fitted and it now being recovered im bumping the post back up. I haven't done much with advertising and pushing it as ive had some problems at home but after having a few people ask I can order some more of these in if there is a demand for them. I've always known they work well and sadly Stuart now knows the same, many people who bought these previously have told me how happy they are but for obvious reasons don't wish to write anything on the site, if there is enough interest I will gladly order some more units in ? ? ? Let me know guys and girls Thanks Colin 1
bigbadsquare Posted June 2, 2014 Report Posted June 2, 2014 What's the present pricing Colin ? And is there a yearly fee ? Cheers. Paul
Savvi Posted June 3, 2014 Author Report Posted June 3, 2014 Price will depend on numbers as it did last time I ran the offer. They certainly haven't gone up in price and I'm hoping if I can get 20 or more then I can get the price down slightly. As I've said all along I don't make a huge profit out of these myself but as long as I clear my costs and pay for postage phone calls etc I'm happy to know that potentially another car can be found. I know there's loads of cheap trackers on eBay which may or may not do the same thing but I buy from a recognised seller in our trade and pay normal price from them, this ensures that I have a warranty and backup if anything does go wrong. Only thing I will say is these are Not insurance approved but it's a lot smaller then any of those and can be hidden well away anywhere in the car making them hard to find.
katana Posted June 3, 2014 Report Posted June 3, 2014 I think I'm deffo having one! My M8 had his 61 plate Audi S5 nicked last Friday and coppers called yesterday to tell him the car was fitted with a tracker - he didn't know! Previous owner lapsed the subscription when he sold the car so it was in sleep mode - tracker co. re-activated it remotely (at a cost obviously) and the boys in blue retrieved it yesterday afternoon - Result!
