Ok, it seems that everyone is managing to get into the Ford Heritage place to have a look around and take some pics etc.

 

What do people think about sorting out an OSF visit?

 

I did mention it to posse and I think it was Baileymex (sorry dude, I think it was you ) at the hastings run and was up for it.

 

Does anyone know about how to go about sorting it out?

Thats one of the small downsides of living in sunny Devon! not a lot happens this side of Bristol, but too many pluss points to worry about it!

It would be good to ask the people in charge why this collection isn't available as a proper open to the public museum.

 

Ford US and Ford Australia both have museums, why don't Ford UK feel its worthwhile to allow the public to enjoy their heritage?

As you've seen visits to the workshop can be very disruptive. Our current commitment means a club visit this year is very unlikely. We may be able to arrange something for next year to tie-in with the Ford of Britain centenary.

 

Dont worry not giving up

 

perhaps the offer of a £5 donation per person who visits might be a nice gesture?
