This has got to be one of the best engines available for any classic ford, does anyone have or know someone with a warrior engine.

 

There is an engine kit available from

based on a pinto bottom end capable of 238bhp@ 7200rpm and 185lb of torque,the price is……..£5.750 anyway that they could be a sponsor so we can get a discount.

yes nice bits thats a holbay head originaly they sold it to the new owners ?

and connaught re casted the head more cam carriers and ports changed

this kit is for the head only and cams you nead work done to pistons etc

the head comes nearly 6 thousand pounds plus vat but these are quite a good head but as you ca see good money

the warrior heasd is very good, the YB head can be made to do the same job, and on a 2.0l block can make 280hp in N/A as seen in the ford saloon car championship!

 

Sounds just a good too, you can build a 240 ish hp N/A YB for around 4k complete, the head work is the most work on N/A YB, i do know a good place that will do it to the spec that is listed in the power tune book for a very good price.

mmmmmm millington Diamond! :drool: Very nioce bit of kit but a hell of a lot of money!

 

I assume it is 'cocked' to get a decent airflow into the throttle bodies, tis probably dry sumped as well!
