If you think you have the fastest road legal Old Skool Ford on the board, then we need you .......

 

The lovely people at Shakespeare County Raceway in Warwickshire have invited Old Skool Ford to take part in their Street Car Challenge on Sunday 29th October. Below is the e-mail I received :

 

Hi Jo

 

I know this is a little way off but the track is intending on holding a Shakespeare County Street Car Challenge on Sunday 29th October for trophies 4 and 8 cylinder cars. This will be purely a RWYB TimeTrial quickest and fastest wins the trophy, and I would like to extend the invite to the Old Skool Ford Club.

 

Please let me know when you have talked to others in the club.

The cars running better, now iv'e got the throttle sorted, (what a twat) i'd need to know if it's sprinting or what, as i may need to change the diff over! also would be nice to go mob handed , so who else is taking their motor?

Am not sure Orion mojo if this is open to anyone - there may be a limit on the times of cars because it is fastest road car (ie only 14 secs & under) I will check and see.

 

Al .... you might be best to shove a 4:4 in if you have one it is 1/4 mile drag racing down the strip

I've a 4:2 fitted but it's not a slipper the only slipper i have working at mo is 3:54, have to see if i can blag one for the day!
